Having perfected the manufacture of high quality arrack and country made foreign liquor, Rockland Distilleries, through its’ sister company, Liquid Island, embarked on a journey to create a range of non-alcoholic mixers that would not only complement their portfolio of spirits but elevate the drinks landscape in Sri Lanka.
When we aren’t playing mad scientists behind the bar or tasting tasty tipples from around the world, we are amongst you at Sri Lanka’s hippest bars and clubs in constant pursuit of delicious drinks. It is when the sun sets on another hot day that our thirst for inspiration bubbles.
The Story

For years we ventured from tavern to bar, speakeasy to club, sipping on our favorite liquids. More often than not, though, finding variances in the mix. After all, what stands between you truly enjoying a spirit is the mixer you choose. Time and again we were faced with the unfathomable choice of quality vs. affordability. Added to that, finding a quality mixer that didn’t leave a dent in the wallet was indeed as rare as finding a Pelican in the city. There began our journey to launch Pelican Island – High quality mixers, designed for spirits.
From Gin to Vodka, Rum to Whiskey, we’ve got a mixer for you that is low in sugar and created using globally sourced natural ingredients that are balanced to perfection.
